A new feature film on St. Polycarp, a 2nd century Bishop of Smyrna who was a disciple of John the Apostle, and considered a Church Father. A young slave girl, Anna, is rescued by Christians in Smyrna and befriended by their aged bishop, Polycarp. From him she learns about Christ and the Catholic faith. When the Roman proconsul demands that all citizens worship Caesar to show their allegiance to Rome, Polycarp and the Christians must find the courage to stand for their faith against the growing threat of persecution. Anna is forced to come to grips with the truth about Christ and choose whom she is willing to live, and die, for.
It's always refreshing to see a film that s thin on dialogue, but dense with meaning. Polycarp took home the top prizes at the recent Christian Worldview Film Festival, which is no surprise given its frank treatment of first century persecution.
I believe every Christian needs to be challenged by this film. Based on real history and real Christians suffering real persecution, it s a message we all need to be reminded of. Christian persecution is already happening in America and it s going to increase if things continue as they are. How would we compare to such a man as Polycarp?

What happens when a six-year-old boy in Kenya is abandoned by his family and left to raise himself on the streets? MULLY is no ordinary rags-to-riches tale. It’s the true story of Charles Mully, whose unlikely stratospheric rise to wealth and power leaves him questioning his own existence, searching for meaning in life. Against the better judgment of family and community, MULLY sets out to enrich the fate of orphaned children across Kenya. Jeopardizing his own life and the security of his family, Charles Mully risks everything and sets in motion a series of events that is nothing short of astonishing.
Lord, if you would be honored to use my life and my story, let me make a difference like this man has, in a few or many lives.
You'd better get a whole box of kleenex if you're going to watch this movie because I still can't stop crying. This is by far one of the most inspirational movies I have ever seen. It's amazing to see that one man was able to come so far, with hard work and faith alone from his stark beginnings. And on top of that, he was able to save thousands of lives and change the face of Kenya. You will still be shocked and touched by this incredible man and his story. I can only thank God for allowing such a person to walk the Earth. If I could give this movie 10 stars I would.
